Websites / Independent Design & Development Project
A personal brand, built with purpose.
One home for client work and an engineering career. An editorial website with clear paths to projects, services, and professional experience.
Overview
This personal-brand website brings website services and software engineering experience into one coherent presence.
Challenge
Potential clients need to understand what I can build. Employers need to evaluate my technical work and professional background. Both should find their next step quickly.
Approach
Lead with the work. Give services their own space, and move detailed experience to About and Resume. A shared visual language keeps the two journeys connected.
Experience & design
Warm paper tones, deep green, and restrained lime accents build on the original identity. The existing portrait video anchors the homepage, while large project presentations and readable typography guide the rest of the experience.
Engineering
Astro generates static pages for Cloudflare. Shared components and a central content model keep the pages consistent. Small scripts handle project filtering, video controls, and preparing an email inquiry.
Outcome
A connected set of pages for work, services, experience, and contact. The inquiry flow prepares an email draft; it does not collect submissions on a server.
